Tried & Tested: Restore and Replenish Cream Cleanser

As I move more and more towards using more natural products, I’ve been trying a lot of different brands.  Balance Me is the latest of these.  It started when I was sent a sample of their facial oil, which I thought was pretty good, and has continued with my using their Restore and Replenish Cream Cleanser for the last month.
Balance Me Restore and Replenish Cream Cleanser
Picked because it got good reviews and what it doesn’t contain (parabens, dea, mineral oils, sulphates, pegs, petroleum, silicones, propylene glycol, microbeads, artificial fragrances and colours), I wasn’t sure what to expect after basically using one of two or three of the same cleansers for as long as I can remember.
What I got was a rich and creamy cleanser (possibly not a surprise on the creaminess given the title) that left my skin feeling not only clean but incredibly soft after I used it. So soft, in fact, that I didn’t even feel like I immediately needed to apply a moisturizer – not something I always feel with my regular product choices.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with the products anti-ageing properties, which are said to boost collagen, but it felt good.  And I have to say I looked good too.  After a month, my skin looks clearer and fuller and has a more even tone.  I am an absolute convert to the product and the brand, which will not be a permanent fixture on my bathroom shelves.

The Pros

  • Little, if any, scent
  • Soft, creamy, texture
  • Feels good on the skin when first applied and after being wiped away
  • Left my skin feeling and looking good
  • Reasonably priced at £18 for 125ml
  • The brands value and simple way of explaining just how natural a product is (this is 99%)

The Cons

  • None at all.  Sorry!

What do you think? Have you tried Balance Me products? Do you like them?
